Sehingga kita dapat meremote komputer yang mempunyai sistem operasi Windows XP dan 2003 Server melalui web. Berikut langkah-langkah mengaktifkan Remote Desktop Web Connection:

  • Buka Add or Remove Programs pada Control Panel.
  • Klik Add/Remove Windows Components.
  • Pilih Internet Information Services, kemudian klik Details.
  • Pada daftar Subcomponents Internet Information Services , Pilih World Wide Web Service, kemudian
  • klik Details.
  • Pada Subcomponents for World Wide Web Service list, klik Remote Desktop Web Connection check
  • box, dan klik OK.
  • Pada Windows Components Wizard, klik Next
  • Tunggu sistem mengkopi file sistem, kemudian klik Finish

Langkah-langkah Melakukan Remote Desktop Web Connection:

  1. Pastikan Remote Desktop Web Connection telah terinstalasi dan berjalan pada Web server.

  2. Pada komputer client, klik Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  3. Pada Address box, ketik nama komputer atau IP Address dari Web server hosting Remote Desktop Web Connection. Misal : http://komputer5/tsweb atau http://192.168.0.120/tsweb, kemudian klik connect

4. Masukkan username dan password, kemudian klik OK

5. Setelah berhasil login Anda bisa bekerja seperti layaknya bekerja di Desktop.
