Hosting mail server di Google Apps
Setelah sempat terkatung-katung karena masalah dns server, akhirnya mail.beningsalju.web.id berhasil hosting di Google Apps. Website beningsalju.web.id sebelumnya memakai dns server di freedns.afraid.org, namun saya tidak menemukan settingan untuk menambah mx record-nya. Setelah melihat list tutorial yang di support google untuk menambahkan mx record akhirnya dns server beningsalju.web.id dipindahkan ke zoneedit.com. Atas bantuan mas widi, akhirnya mail.beningsalju.web.di aktif juga. Berikut tutorial konfigurasi mx record di Zoneedit.com
# Log in to your account at ZoneEdit.com.
# Select the zone that has the MX entries you would like to change.
# Click Mail Servers (MS).
# Delete the current entries:
Select all checkboxes in the delete column.
Press the Delete button.
Click Yes to verify.
# MX records should be added one at a time:
In MailServer, add ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
Select 1st priority for the rank.
Add the name of your domain.
# Click Add New Mail Server.
# You will be ask to confirm the operation. Press Yes.
# Repeat for the following entries:
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM handles mail 3rd for your domain
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM handles mail 3rd for your domain
ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM handles mail 5th for your domain
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM handles mail 5th for your domain
ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM handles mail 5th for your domain
ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM handles mail 5th for your domain
